Banyumas Regency, Central Java, has several schemes for waste management, such as community self-help groups (KSM) and the Integrated Waste Management Site (TPSP) of the Regional-Owned Enterprise (BUMD). The Head of the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) for Environment-Based and Education Integrated Waste Processing Site (TPST BLE) of the Banyumas Regency Environmental Agency, Edy Nugroho, stated that the TPSP sends 80 to 100 tonnes of Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF) or processed waste to two cement factories every day for utilisation.
