We should sympathize with Bantul Regent Sri Roso Sudarmo, who
had Rp 1 billion extorted from him by a psychic. The fact that he
is not suing the psychic is laudable.

But it was a pity that the Ministry of Home Affair's inspector
general and secretary-general accused the regent of doing
something unconstitutional and tarnishing the reputation of the
civil service.

We hail the steps taken by Minister of Home Affairs Yogie S.
Memet, who warned the regent and instructed the governor of
Yogyakarta to take similar action.
