Bantul Regency assists beneficiaries of school revitalisation programme
Yogyakarta (ANTARA) — Bantul Regency in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) has assisted beneficiaries of the school revitalisation programme to anticipate administrative obstacles and legal issues during its implementation.
Titik Sunarti Widyaningsih, secretary of Bantul’s Education, Youth and Sports Office, said in Bantul on Friday that advocacy and assistance formed part of the support provided to educational institutions receiving the programme.
“In 2026, there are 171 educational institutions [receiving the programme], and the regent and the Bantul district prosecutor are providing direct assistance,” she said.
The office has also provided advocacy by explaining the programme from the outset and visiting recipient schools, particularly to advise them on legal and regulatory matters.
“Yesterday, the district prosecutor initiated a meeting with the educational institutions to provide motivation and legal guidance,” she said.
“They need help and guidance so that the programme can be implemented in accordance with the existing regulations,” she added.
She said the assistance was also necessary to ensure that each educational institution understood the regulations, legal requirements and policies in force in Bantul Regency.
“We hope they can carry out the revitalisation programme with confidence and enthusiasm. They are not on their own; we are ready to back them up,” she said.
According to her, the assistance is intended to prevent problems arising from beneficiaries’ lack of understanding of the regulations, which could lead to administrative errors.
