Banten Vocational Training Unit Offers Job Opportunities in Japan
Serang, Banten - The Vocational Training Unit (UPTD Latker) of the Banten Provincial Manpower Office (Disnakertrans) is offering job opportunities in Japan for Banten residents who meet the necessary requirements and pass the selection process, particularly for women through the ‘Caregiver Scholarship’ programme.
‘We are collaborating with Fuji Academy and Sinarmas Land’s CSR in the form of the Caregiver Scholarship programme. UPTTD Latker Banten provides support for testing venues and training,’ said the Head of UPTD Latker Disnakertrans Banten, M. Bayuni, in Serang, Banten, on Tuesday.
He stated that these job opportunities in Japan are specifically intended for women from Banten who meet the criteria and pass the selection tests according to the regulations.
The requirements include being a woman aged 18-28, having at least a high school or vocational school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent, being free from colour blindness, having no history of illness, and meeting other general criteria.
‘The selection process is currently ongoing, and the quota has not yet been met. There were 30 applicants in the first stage and 400 in the second,’ said Bayuni.
He expressed hope that Banten residents who meet the terms and conditions and pass the selection would take advantage of this excellent opportunity.
‘This programme is certainly in line with our efforts at UPTD Latker, which is to prepare human resources that are ready to enter the workforce,’ he added.
Meanwhile, the Head of Fuji Academy, R. Thiky Adelina Permatasari, added that the quota for the programme’s requirements is 20 people. Of that quota, only four individuals have met the requirements and passed the selection so far.
‘The quota is 20 people. There will be six months of training before they are sent to Japan,’ she said.
She noted that the programme is organised through the cooperation of Fuji Academy, Sinarmas Land’s CSR, and the UPTD Latker Disnakertrans Banten.
‘This programme is specifically for women only. The training will commence in October,’ said Thiky.
