The Regional Executive Board of the Al-Khairiyah Student Movement (DPW GEMA Al-Khairiyah) in Banten Province held a rally and national parade at the Cilegon landmark on Monday (20/7/2026). The action was a demonstration of the students’ commitment to fully supporting President Prabowo Subianto’s agenda to eradicate corruption and mafia practices across all sectors.

The event, which began with a social outreach activity for the community, proceeded in an orderly manner. The crowd voiced the importance of independent, professional, and transparent law enforcement, free from any form of political intervention.

DPW GEMA Al-Khairiyah Banten Chairman Supardi stressed that students in Banten would continue to position themselves as critical yet constructive partners in safeguarding the rule of law under the current administration. ‘We support President Prabowo Subianto’s efforts to eradicate corruption and various mafia practices that harm the state and society. Corruption eradication must be carried out consistently, without discrimination, and based on the rule of law,’ Supardi stated on Monday.

Beyond law enforcement issues, the student organisation is also paying close attention to the sustainability of public welfare programmes, particularly the Free Nutritious Meal Programme (MBG). GEMA Al-Khairiyah views the programme as a strategic long-term investment to boost the quality of Indonesia’s young generation’s human resources. To ensure the programme runs effectively without budget leakage, the student body expressed its readiness to conduct direct participatory monitoring in the field.

‘The MBG programme must be implemented transparently, on target, effectively, and accountably so that its benefits are truly felt by the community. Students are ready to play a role in participatory oversight to ensure every budget is used according to the principles of good governance,’ he added.

Meanwhile, Field Coordinator Rosihin and rally orator Kamila Anjaina called on all young people to remain objective and critical in overseeing the running of the government to maintain a healthy democratic climate and public trust. During the peaceful rally, DPW GEMA Al-Khairiyah Banten Province officially read out five points of an official stance.
