Banten Provincial Government Improves Service Quality Through Civil Servant Training

The Provincial Government of Banten continues its efforts to improve the quality of public services for the community, one of which is through the implementation of Supervisory Leadership Training (PKP) for civil servants (ASN) in the region.

Regional Secretary of Banten Province Deden Apriandhi, in his statement in Serang on Friday, targeted the civil servants participating in this training to bring learning outcomes through tangible change actions in their respective work units.

“Ensure that the changes participants make result in easier services, faster processes, more efficient budgets, and greater assistance for the community,” said Deden when opening the activity at the Banten Province BPSDMD Hall.

To achieve optimal services, Deden emphasised that the training space should be utilised to the maximum to strengthen leadership capacity and build collaborative abilities.

According to him, regional government officials cannot work alone in resolving various issues in the field.

He also stressed that officials should not treat this leadership training merely as a career development requirement or simply to pursue certificates, but rather to genuinely absorb knowledge to improve services.

Meanwhile, Head of BPSDMD Banten Province EA Deni Hermawan explained that the PKP is organised to meet the managerial competency standards for structural positions while also realising accountability for official positions.

“We direct this training not only to meet standards, but to shape participants into leaders who are able to apply learning outcomes concretely in their work units,” said Deni.

The PKP Batch XXIII, XXIV, XXV, and XXVI of 2026 activity is attended by 157 participants from the Banten Provincial Government and seven regency/city governments.

The training is conducted using a blended learning method that combines classical and non-classical systems over 104 days or 905 lesson hours, from 21 July to 26 November 2026.
