The Banten Provincial Government has launched a QRIS payment programme for transportation access to the Baduy tourist area. The public can pay Rp 1 per DAMRI bus trip on the route from Pakupatan Terminal in Serang City to Ciboleger Terminal, the entrance to the Baduy area.

This programme was launched by Banten Governor Andra Soni at the West Square of Serang City on Sunday (26/4/2026). The Rp 1 fare programme for the DAMRI bus route from Pakupatan Terminal in Serang City to Ciboleger Terminal is an initiative of Perum Damri’s Serang Branch together with Bank Indonesia Province of Banten.

“Access to Baduy tourism is now even easier. The public can utilise comfortable and affordable public transportation,” said Andra Soni.

This special fare applies for one month, every Friday to Sunday from 26 April to 31 May 2026. Andra Soni stated that this programme is intended to facilitate cultural tourism for the public.

“We are endeavouring to provide good public transportation services as a form of support for the tourism sector and service to the public,” he said.

“This demonstrates the great potential in promoting regional economic digitalisation,” he added.

Meanwhile, the Head of DAMRI Serang Branch, Maman Suparman, explained that this service covers the Serang-Ciboleger route via Sajira, Cisimut, and Muncang in Lebak Regency. There are two departure and return schedules.

“There are two morning departure schedules, namely at 05.30 WIB and 06.00 WIB. Meanwhile, the return schedules from Ciboleger to Serang are at 12.00 WIB and 12.30 WIB,” said Maman.
