Banten Police held a troop parade for Operation Ketupat Maung 2026. A total of 3,972 combined personnel were mobilised and 57 posts were established across Banten Police jurisdiction.

The troop parade took place at Banten Police Headquarters in Serang City on Thursday, 12 March 2026. The parade was attended by Banten Police Chief Inspector General Hengki, Banten Governor Andra Soni, and Military Regional Commander (Danrem) 064/Maulana Yusuf Brigadier General Daru Cahyadi Soeprapto.

The Police Chief and his delegation inspected personnel readiness, including operational vehicles to be deployed. Inspector General Hengki stated that personnel are prepared to be deployed in Operation Ketupat from 13 to 25 March 2026.

“With a total of 3,972 personnel from the National Police, Armed Forces, local government, ministries, National Search and Rescue Agency, and Meteorological Agency,” said Hengki.

“We have prepared 57 posts: 39 Security Posts (Pospam), 10 Service Posts, 6 Integrated Post locations, and 2 Disaster Response Post locations. A total of 57 posts distributed particularly across Banten Police jurisdiction, covering 4 regencies and 2 cities,” he added.

For Operation Ketupat 2026, four ports have been prepared to serve returning migrants: Pelindo Ciwandan Port, Krakatau Bandar Samudera Port, ASDP Merak Port, and Bandar Bakau Jaya Bojonegara Port.

“In accordance with the National Police Chief’s directive, this operation is a humanitarian operation providing safety and smooth passage for returning migrants with the tagline ‘Safe Homecoming, Happy Family,’” he stated.

Additionally, Banten Police destroyed 7,471 bottles of alcoholic beverages seized during intensive operations throughout Ramadan.

“We continue today with the destruction operation together with the Governor, as a joint commitment with the Regional Commander and the Armed Forces, and the Interfaith Communication Forum, carrying out the destruction of evidence in the form of alcoholic beverages that greatly disturb the community,” he said.
