Banten Police Distribute 70 Cows and 5 Goats for Eid al-Adha Sacrifice to Community

Banten Police Chief conducted checks and distribution of sacrificial animals to ensure they were healthy and fit for slaughter. The thorough inspections covered the animals’ physical condition and distribution readiness. Police Chief Irjen Hengki stated that the sacrifice embodies sincerity, sacrifice, and concern for others as per Eid al-Adha’s meaning. ‘This activity is not merely an annual tradition but also an opportunity to enhance social concern, unity, and the spirit of sharing among those in need. We hope the distributed sacrificial animals will benefit and bring joy to the community,’ he said. Hengki further emphasised that Eid al-Adha should strengthen harmonious relations between the police and the public. ‘With such social activities, we aim to foster emotional closeness and better synergy in maintaining public safety and order in Banten,’ he added. The distribution process will be carried out progressively and evenly to those in need, with primary targets including the poor, foundations, Islamic boarding schools, religious leaders, and other community elements.
