The Chief of Police of Banten, Inspector General Hengki, checked the vehicles to be used in Operation Ketupat Maung 2026. He hopes all vehicles operate normally and that no obstacles will arise.

Hengki led the Vehicle Operational Check Ceremony as part of readiness for the Central Police Operation Ketupat Maung 2026 at the grounds of the Banten Police Headquarters on Friday (6 March 2026).

Hengki was accompanied by Deputy Chief of Police of Banten, Brigadier General Hendra Wirawan, to inspect operational vehicles, including two-wheeled, four-wheeled, and tactical vehicles to be used during Operation Ketupat.

Polda Banten aims to ensure that all facilities and infrastructure are in a ready state to support security for the flow of people returning for Lebaran and those travelling home.

“We are conducting checks on personnel as well as facilities and infrastructure, starting from two-wheelers, four-wheelers to tactical vehicles so that everything is ready to use,” Hengki said.

Hengki reminded of the importance of check and recheck as well as final checks for all operational vehicles. He did not want any obstacles during field tasks.

“Some time ago, when we checked the route with the Deputy Chief and the Dirlantas towards Pelabuhan Ciwandan, KBS, and Merak, there were still obstacles on escort vehicles,” he said.

“These matters serve as our evaluation so that vehicle readiness is truly optimal,” he added.

The Police Chief urged officers to remain vigilant of weather conditions in the Banten region. For him, rainy weather can disrupt traffic or cause natural disasters.

Hengki called on all personnel to maintain morale and provide the best service to the community during Operation Ketupat Maung 2026.

“Keep the spirit, let us show our readiness from the perspective of personnel, facilities, and infrastructure. Hopefully with thorough preparation, the Ketupat Maung 2026 operation can run safely, smoothly, and provide a sense of security for the community,” he concluded.
