Banten Customs Office Destroys Millions of Illegal Cigarettes Worth Rp34.81 Billion

The Banten Regional Office of the Directorate General of Customs and Excise destroyed evidence from customs and excise enforcement actions, consisting of more than 26 million illegal cigarettes that had been designated as State-Owned Goods (BMMN), in Pagedangan, Tangerang Regency, Banten, on Tuesday (21/4). Head of the Banten Regional Office of the Directorate General of Customs and Excise, Ambang Priyonggo, stated that the total value of the destroyed goods reached Rp34.81 billion, with a potential state loss prevented amounting to Rp24.73 billion.
