The Banten High Prosecutor’s Office (Kejati Banten) raided the office of the regional-owned enterprise PT Agrobisnis Banten Mandiri (ABM) in Serang City, Banten. The search was related to alleged criminal acts of corruption.

The Head of Legal Information at Kejati Banten, Jonathan Suranta Martua, stated that the raid took place on Thursday (16/4) concerning the financial management of PT ABM.

“Regarding the investigation of the case of alleged corruption in the financial management of PT Agrobisnis Banten Mandiri (ABM) for the years 2020-2024,” said Jonathan on Friday (17/4/2026).

The Special Crimes Investigation Team of Kejati Banten seized 90 important documents related to the corruption case. In addition, the investigators also seized one computer unit from the office.

“Investigators obtained ninety bundles of important documents as well as electronic evidence in the form of one CPU unit related to the investigation. These items will later be used as evidence in the aforementioned case,” he said.

Jonathan has not provided detailed information about the case being investigated by Kejati Banten. However, he assured that the case being handled involves financial management during the period from 2020 to 2024.

According to him, PT ABM is suspected of not adhering to Ministry of Home Affairs Regulation No. 118 of 2018 on Business Plans, Work Plans and Budgets, Cooperation, Reporting and Evaluation of Regional-Owned Enterprises (BUMD).

“This has resulted in losses to regional finances,” he stated.
