Annan condemns Jakarta blast: UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan was
"horrified" by a bomb blast in Indonesia earlier Tuesday that
left at least 14 people dead, his spokesman said. "He condemns in
the strongest possible terms this apparent act of terrorism," the
spokesman said. Annan sent his "heartfelt condolences to the
government of Indonesia and the families of the victims of this
despicable act." -- AFP
