The Financial Services Authority (OJK) recorded banking credit distribution reaching Rp 8,559 trillion in February 2026. This figure grew 9.37 percent year-on-year.

“In February 2026, credit grew by 9.37 percent (yoy),” said the Executive Head of Banking Supervision at OJK, Dian Ediana Rae, during a press conference on Monday.

Investment credit recorded the highest growth of 20.72 percent. Corporate credit grew 14.74 percent.

Based on ownership, state-owned banks recorded the highest credit growth of 12.78 percent.

On the funding side, third-party funds (DPK) reached Rp 10,102 trillion, or grew 13.18 percent. Demand deposits grew 18.56 percent. Time deposits rose 13 percent. Savings increased 8.12 percent.

The liquidity coverage ratio (LCR) stood at 195.64 percent.

Credit quality remains well-maintained. Gross NPL was 2.17 percent. Net NPL was 0.83 percent. Loan at risk (LaR) was at 9.24 percent.

Bank profitability is reflected in a return on assets (ROA) of 2.37 percent. Capital resilience is also strong with a capital adequacy ratio (CAR) of 25.83 percent.

The OJK Banking Survey for the first quarter of 2026 shows that banking performance remains solid. Risks are managed, and the confidence index remains in the optimistic zone.
