PT Bank Woori Saudara Indonesia 1906 Tbk (Bank Woori Saudara/BWS) has once again retained its national long-term AAA(idn) rating with a “Stable” outlook and national short-term F1+(idn) rating from Fitch Ratings. In its latest rating letter, Fitch stated that the AAA(idn) rating represents the highest level on the national scale. This achievement reflects the lowest expectations of default risk compared to other issuers in the same country. Meanwhile, the F1+(idn) rating indicates a very strong capacity to meet short-term financial obligations on time. This is supported by a solid liquidity profile. The stability of the funding structure, disciplined liquidity management, and prudent approach to credit expansion are key factors supporting the rating agency’s confidence in the company’s performance resilience. “Efforts in digitalising services and developing products based on customer needs are also a focus for expanding the customer base while improving operational efficiency,” said Wuryanto in a press release received by Kompas.com on Monday (30/3/2026). Moving forward, the company will continue to prioritise good corporate governance principles, transparency to stakeholders, and strengthening of capital and liquidity to face evolving economic dynamics. Bank Woori Saudara is also committed to strengthening its intermediation role through selective and measured credit disbursement while maintaining a balance between business expansion and risk management. “With this strategy, the company is optimistic about maintaining stable performance and increasing investor and market confidence in Bank Woori Saudara’s long-term prospects,” he added.
