Bank Sumsel Babel Supports South Sumatra Health Tourism Development with Provincial Government

Bank Sumsel Babel has demonstrated its commitment to regional development by becoming the main sponsor of the South Sumatra Health Tourism socialisation event and a gathering between the Governor of South Sumatra and the local community in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The event took place at The Alana Hotel & Convention Center, Yogyakarta, on Friday, 3 July 2026. This support reflects the bank’s role as a strategic partner to the provincial government, not only in providing financial services but also in contributing to the development of regional potential, improving public welfare, and strengthening South Sumatra’s competitiveness. The event, attended by South Sumatra Governor H. Herman Deru, also served as a platform to strengthen ties with the South Sumatran community and students residing in Yogyakarta. Furthermore, the activity was used to introduce South Sumatra Health Tourism as an effort to integrate healthcare services, the tourism sector, and regional economic growth. Through this programme, South Sumatra continues to strengthen its position as a region offering quality healthcare services alongside diverse tourism, cultural, and culinary attractions that can appeal to people from various areas.
