JAKARTA – PT Bank Sinarmas Tbk (BSIM) has launched the Tabungan Simas Share savings product as an innovative offering that merges financial benefits with social and environmental contributions. This product addresses the needs of the public who wish to contribute to social and environmental issues but are constrained by time or uncertainty on how to begin. Through Tabungan Simas Share, customers can save while automatically sharing. Customers can open a Tabungan Simas Share account via the SimobiPlus mobile banking application or at Bank Sinarmas branches. Additionally, customers can monitor the total donations disbursed through the e-statement menu in the application. Bank Sinarmas Retail Banking Director, Miko Andidjaja, stated that this product is designed to encourage ongoing customer involvement in sustainable good deeds. The launch of Tabungan Simas Share was marked by a mangrove planting activity held at Jakarta Mangrove Resort, Taman Wisata Alam Angke Kapuk, North Jakarta, on Wednesday. This event serves as the initial step in the Simas Share initiative to support climate change mitigation and preserve coastal ecosystems. Bank Sinarmas President Director, Frenky Tirtowijoyo, emphasised that this product is part of the company’s commitment to integrating business growth with social impact. The donation funds collected from customers’ savings interest will be channelled to support various social activities, including in education, health, and programmes to improve the welfare of underprivileged communities. Furthermore, the funds will support various initiatives focused on environmental sustainability. Through this product, every fund deposited by customers is expected to contribute to creating positive impacts for society and the environment.
