Bank Sampoerna's Assets Reach Rp18.2 Trillion in 2025, Growing 2.69 Percent
Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Bank Sahabat Sampoerna (Bank Sampoerna) recorded total assets throughout 2025 reaching Rp18.2 trillion, or a growth of 2.69 percent (year on year/yoy) compared to the previous year.
This growth was accompanied by strengthening on the capital side, with the capital adequacy ratio (CAR) at 29.72 percent. According to the company, this reflects readiness of capital for sustainable growth.
Bank Sampoerna’s Director of Finance & Business Planning, Henky Suryaputra, stated in Jakarta on Tuesday that the company is committed to continuing to provide support, both through financing and mentoring, as well as collaborating with strategic partners to drive sustainable SME growth.
“This commitment is reflected in the composition of SME credit disbursement, which reached 57.16 percent of total credit disbursed as of December 2025,” said Henky.
Furthermore, he stated that SMEs play a strategic role in the overall national economy. If there is an economic slowdown that erodes SME actors, the impact will be felt comprehensively.
Therefore, said Henky, Bank Sampoerna continues to strive to provide support through sustainable credit disbursement to the SME sector.
“This situation is certainly not easy, especially amid global and domestic conditions that are still filled with challenges and a slowdown in domestic demand, reflected in the moderation of household consumption and more limited credit growth, particularly in the SME sector,” he said.
The company stated that it always emphasises quality credit disbursement while upholding prudent principles.
At the end of 2025, Bank Sampoerna’s gross non-performing loan (NPL) ratio and net NPL were 3.79 percent and 2.28 percent, respectively, better than the end of 2024 position.
To support SME credit disbursement, third-party funds (DPK) rose to Rp13.44 trillion, with the composition of low-cost funds (CASA) reaching 22.73 percent compared to 16.12 percent at the end of 2024.
According to the company, this increase contributed to strengthening the corporate low-cost funds ratio composition, reflecting growing customer confidence.
Bank Sampoerna CEO Ali Yong said that the adoption of technology in the banking system is essential.
The company supports strengthening corporate digitalisation with reliable infrastructure based on Bank as a Service (BaaS).
“In reaching customers and SMEs more broadly, we realise we cannot go it alone. Therefore, we continue to open collaboration opportunities to provide added value for customers up to the remotest areas,” said Ali.
Through BaaS services, Ali said that currently more than 50 fintech companies, multifinance, cooperatives, and other financial institutions are involved to bridge customers into the digital financial ecosystem.
Thanks to BaaS services, digital transaction activities showed significant growth throughout 2025, reflected in transaction volume growing 21 percent yoy from Rp144 trillion in December 2024 to Rp174 trillion in December 2025.
Meanwhile, transaction frequency also experienced a surge of more than 1,000 percent from 42 million transactions to 643 million transactions.
The company explained that this infrastructure provides opportunities for partners to develop business potential while strengthening an inclusive financial ecosystem.
In addition to strengthening internal systems, Bank Sampoerna also consistently organises financial literacy activities titled SampoernaFest.
In its two years of implementation, this event has introduced Sampoerna Mobile Banking digital services to thousands of new customers and involved 79 local SME partners from various sectors, from culinary to lifestyle.
Through these various efforts, Ali stated that Bank Sampoerna continues to commit to channelling financing to support SME growth as the backbone of the national economy.
