Bank Raya, a digital bank that is part of the BRI Group, officially launched Raya Active, an innovative feature that connects physical activity with savings habits through the Raya App, on Sunday, 28 June 2026. This feature allows customers to convert steps, distance travelled, or calories burned into automatic savings triggers, making the process of saving easier, more enjoyable, and aligned with an active lifestyle. Raya Active is integrated with Health Connect on Android devices and Apple Health on iOS to track users’ physical activity. Once an activity target is reached, funds are automatically transferred from the Main Pocket to a Smart Pocket or Budget Pocket according to the selected settings, enabling users to save consistently without manual intervention. Bank Raya’s Digital and Operations Director, Lukman Hakim, stated that Raya Active is an innovation that combines a healthy lifestyle with better financial management. “Raya Active is the first digital banking innovation that connects a healthy lifestyle with better financial management. As a digital bank, we strive to understand the character of our customers, the majority of whom are young people who care about financial health. Moreover, a healthy lifestyle has become part of today’s societal lifestyle,” said Lukman Hakim. He added that Bank Raya continues to expand its service reach for various communities, from hobby and sports communities to business actors. The presence of Raya Active is expected to further strengthen Bank Raya’s innovation in meeting community needs. In addition to Raya Active, Bank Raya also introduced Saku Bareng, a feature that allows customers to save collectively and transparently for more than 300 members. This feature includes the ability to create up to five savings pockets, making it easier to separate personal and community budgets. Administrators can also automatically monitor member contributions and expenditures through the Financial Recap feature. The launch of Raya Active was held in conjunction with the Bank Raya Fun Run in collaboration with Kumparan on Sunday (28/6) in the Car Free Day area of Jakarta. Hundreds of runners from various communities became the first users to try the feature. Through this activity, Bank Raya aims to introduce Raya Active to sports communities while encouraging the public to build savings habits through consistent daily physical activity. By linking exercise targets and savings targets, users can gradually accumulate funds to meet various sports needs, such as buying running shoes, sportswear, smartwatches, and other sports equipment. To activate Raya Active, users simply set a physical activity target, such as the number of steps, distance, or calories to burn, then set a nominal savings target to achieve. The application will then automatically record activity progress. When the activity target is met, funds from the Main Pocket will be automatically transferred to the Smart Pocket or Budget Pocket according to the user’s settings. Concluding the launch of Raya Active, Lukman emphasised that this innovation is not just about presenting a new feature, but also about building positive habits for customers. “Raya Active is not just a feature, but a new way to build healthier, more disciplined, and better-planned habits. By integrating an active lifestyle into the digital banking experience, Bank Raya wants to provide solutions that not only facilitate transactions but also support the overall quality of life of our customers,” Lukman asserted.
