Bank Raya Appoints Farid Rahman and Tatang Yuliono as Commissioners
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - PT Bank Raya Indonesia Tbk (AGRO) has appointed two new members to its board of commissioners at the 2026 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM), held on Wednesday, 20 May 2026. Shareholders approved the appointment of two new names to the board: Farid Rahman as Independent Commissioner and Tatang Yuliono as Commissioner. ‘Both appointments will take effect after their fit and proper test is approved by the Financial Services Authority (OJK),’ Bank Raya President Director Ida Bagus Ketut Subagia said in a written statement on Wednesday, 20 May 2026. Previously, Farid served as President Director of PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Barat dan Banten Tbk (Bank Jabar Banten) from 2019-2024 and as President Director of PT Bank Woori Saudara Indonesia 1906 Tbk from 2012-2019. Meanwhile, Tatang Yuliono has served as Deputy for Coordination of Trade and Food Distribution at the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs since 2024. Previously, Tatang was Assistant Deputy for National Logistics Development at the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs in 2024 and Assistant Deputy for Trade Facilitation at the same ministry from 2020-2024. Bagus said that appointing new commissioners was the first agenda item discussed at AGM 2026 and approved by shareholders. ‘Adapun RUPST 2026 Bank Raya dihadiri oleh para pemegang saham yang mewakili 89,53 persen atau sejumlah 22,08 miliar saham dari seluruh jumlah saham yang dikeluarkan oleh perseroan.’ Bank Raya’s AGM was attended by shareholders representing 89.53 percent, or around 22.08 billion shares, of the company’s issued capital. ‘With the backing of shareholders as evidenced by the approval of all proposed agenda items in AGM 2026, we are optimistic that Bank Raya will continue to strengthen its position as a resilient, healthy, and sustainable digital bank,’ Bagus said. ‘Going forward, the company will continue to focus on strengthening its business fundamentals, expanding digital service innovations, and increasing its contribution to accelerating digital financial inclusion in Indonesia,’ Bagus concluded.
