Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Bank Mega Syariah has recorded total funding growth from the corporate segment exceeding 60% year-on-year, reaching more than Rp5.9 trillion in 2025. Positive growth is also reflected in corporate current accounts, with rupiah current accounts increasing significantly to more than Rp764 billion in December 2025, or growing over 174% year-on-year. Syariah Sales Segment Deputy Division Head of Bank Mega Syariah, Yoga Abyansa, stated in Jakarta on Friday that this increase demonstrates the growing trust of institutions in the company’s transactional services. Various solutions provided, such as payroll, virtual accounts (VA), tax payments within the cash management system (CMS) feature, and bank guarantees, are seen as key catalysts in strengthening the corporate financial ecosystem while supporting the efficiency of institutional cash flow management. Yoga added that the implementation of the Mesya Berkah Institusi Programme has also been one of the drivers of corporate funding growth through increased institutional customer loyalty. “This programme is designed to provide added value for institutional partners who place funds while optimally utilising Bank Mega Syariah’s transactional services,” he said. The company stated that this programme represents its commitment to building mutually beneficial relationships with corporate customers. Bank Mega Syariah hopes that the synergies established can continue to provide sustainable benefits, both in terms of business growth and contributions to the development of the sharia economic ecosystem. As part of the Mesya Berkah Institusi Programme, the company has also handed over a prize to the Wakaf Foundation of Universitas Muslim Indonesia in the form of one unit of Toyota New Rush 1.5 S A/T GR Sport. According to the company, trust from various institutions, including the Wakaf Foundation of UMI, further strengthens Bank Mega Syariah’s position in developing a sustainable low-cost fund base (current account savings account/CASA). Through a combination of comprehensive transactional services and loyalty programmes, the company expressed optimism for continuing to enhance the competitiveness of funding in the corporate segment while expanding penetration into various institutional ecosystems in Indonesia.
