Bank Mega Distributes Rp 2 Trillion Dividend, Equivalent to Rp 172 per Share
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - PT Bank Mega Tbk (MEGA) has set a cash dividend of Rp 2 trillion or Rp 171.95 per share for the 2025 fiscal year, as decided at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) on Tuesday (31/3/2026). The AGMS also approved the allocation of the 2025 net profit amounting to Rp 3.4 trillion. An amount of Rp 35.1 billion is allocated as reserve funds. Rp 2 trillion is distributed as dividends. The remaining Rp 1.3 trillion is recorded as retained earnings. “The cash dividend value per share is approximately Rp 171.95 or Rp 172 per share,” said Bank Mega’s President Director Kostaman Thayib after the AGMS. The distribution will be carried out proportionally with a 1:1 ratio according to share ownership. Kostaman assessed that the dividend and bonus share distribution would provide positive sentiment for share price movements. MEGA shares closed up 0.22 percent or 10 points at 4,550 during Monday’s trading. Intraday movements showed a tug-of-war between profit-taking actions and investor accumulation. “I think the share winners are influenced by two pieces of information, namely regarding the cash dividend distribution and bonus shares,” he explained. Bank Mega’s fundamental performance grew throughout 2025. Net profit rose 28 percent to Rp 3.36 trillion. The increase was supported by fee-based income that surged 54 percent to Rp 2.79 trillion from Rp 1.82 trillion. This achievement places Bank Mega among the top 10 in the industry in terms of profitability. The non-performing loan (NPL) ratio improved to 1.65 percent. Third-party funds (DPK) grew 14 percent to Rp 104.13 trillion. Low-cost funds or current account saving account (CASA) rose 2 percent to Rp 28.14 trillion, although still dominated by deposits.
