PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk. (BMRI) posted a consolidated net profit attributable to the parent entity (PATMI) of Rp30.41 trillion for the first half of 2026. This realisation represents a 24.36% increase compared to the cumulative profit for the first half of 2025, which stood at Rp24.46 trillion. This figure differs from the second quarter 2026 profit of Rp15.03 trillion, as it encompasses the accumulated performance from January to June 2026. The profit figures in the table are cumulative for the year-to-date. Q1 covers performance from January to March, Q2 from January to June, Q3 from January to September, and Q4 covers the full year. Because the calculation resets to zero at the beginning of each year, a nominal decline from Q4 to Q1 does not indicate a contraction in profit. The profit growth in the first half of 2026 was supported by a 14.9% increase in non-interest income to Rp22.78 trillion. Net interest income also rose by 8.05% to Rp47.84 trillion. Concurrently, operating expenses fell by 1.42% to Rp26.93 trillion. This combination of higher income and lower costs pushed pre-provision operating profit (PPOP) up by 19.9% to Rp44.18 trillion. Provisioning expenses also declined by 12.5% to Rp5.12 trillion. The 2026 consolidated report no longer includes Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) as a subsidiary. To ensure a like-for-like comparison, the first half 2025 figures in the latest presentation have been restated on a proforma basis excluding BSI.
