PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk recorded that its mobile banking app, Livin’ by Mandiri, had surpassed 41 million registered users by the end of June 2026, representing a 24.3 per cent year-on-year (yoy) growth. The average daily acquisition rate for Livin’ by Mandiri was recorded at approximately 27,000 new users. “For us, digital is not just a transaction channel, but the main foundation for delivering services that are faster, more efficient, and capable of reaching more people and businesses across Indonesia,” said Bank Mandiri’s Director of Finance & Strategy, Novita Widya Anggraini, during an online performance presentation in Jakarta on Thursday. Novita further revealed that if the transaction volume on Livin’ were processed through Bank Mandiri’s conventional network, it would equate to around 11,500 transactions per day or approximately 1,700 transactions per service hour at each branch office. “One can imagine the enormous costs required to run these transactions if they were done conventionally,” she said. Meanwhile, in the wholesale segment, Kopra by Mandiri served around 354,000 registered users, growing 26.8 per cent yoy, with approximately 84 per cent being micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) players. According to Novita, this achievement shows that digital transformation is not only enjoyed by large corporations but has also become part of the operational activities of small and medium-sized businesses. As of the end of June 2026, Bank Mandiri posted a consolidated net profit of Rp30.4 trillion, growing 24.4 per cent yoy. On a bank-only basis, Bank Mandiri’s loans reached Rp1,592 trillion, growing 19.9 per cent yoy, while third-party funds (DPK) grew 17.1 per cent yoy to reach Rp1,710 trillion. Novita stated that profit growth was partly driven by non-interest income, particularly recurring fee-based income. This performance was mainly driven by recurring income from Livin’ by Mandiri fees, which grew 46 per cent, and Kopra by Mandiri fees, which grew 22.8 per cent. Additionally, recurring fee-based income from various treasury transactions generated a fee growth of 23 per cent. “We are confident that with strong fundamentals, a focused business strategy, and discipline in risk management, Bank Mandiri is optimistic it can continue to maintain sustainable growth in the years to come,” Novita concluded.
