PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) is distributing an interim dividend of Rp6.16 trillion, or Rp66 per share, for the 2026 financial year. The distribution comes amid the bank’s still solid financial performance through August 2026.

Bank Mandiri’s Finance & Strategy Director, Novita Widya Anggraini, said the interim dividend distribution reflects management’s confidence in the company’s business fundamentals.

The decision to pay the interim dividend was approved by the Board of Commissioners following the Board of Directors’ decision on 3 September 2026, and was disclosed to the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on 4 September 2026.

With this distribution, the total dividends paid by Bank Mandiri throughout calendar 2026 amount to approximately Rp50.63 trillion, consisting of Rp44.47 trillion from the 2025 financial year and Rp6.16 trillion in interim dividends for the 2026 financial year.

“This interim dividend distribution reflects our confidence in Bank Mandiri’s fundamentals going forward, as well as being a form of appreciation for the trust of our shareholders, including retail investors,” Novita said in an official statement quoted on Tuesday (8/9/2026).

She said the decision was made while continuing to take into account the bank’s fundamentals, capital adequacy, liquidity and financial ratios. As such, the dividend distribution is not seen as disrupting Bank Mandiri’s capacity to continue its business expansion.

That optimism is underpinned by Bank Mandiri’s intermediation performance, which continues to grow strongly. On a bank-only basis, lending up to August 2026 reached Rp1,592 trillion, growing 17.6% year-on-year (yoy).

The credit growth was in line with a 17.6% yoy rise in third-party funds (DPK) to Rp1,687 trillion.

Meanwhile, Bank Mandiri’s total assets reached Rp2,358 trillion in August 2026, up 20.7% yoy. In terms of profitability, the bank’s net profit rose 22.3% yoy to Rp37.5 trillion.

The business growth was also accompanied by maintained asset quality. Bank Mandiri’s gross non-performing loan (NPL) ratio stood at 1.00%.

Novita stressed that the interim dividend distribution is part of Bank Mandiri’s prudent capital management strategy, taking into account business growth needs as well as shareholders’ interests.

“Bank Mandiri has sufficient capacity to distribute dividends while continuing credit expansion to productive sectors,” she said.

The interim dividend will be distributed to shareholders recorded in the Shareholder Register on the recording date set by the company.

The cum dividend date for the Regular and Negotiated Markets has been set for 15 September 2026, with the ex dividend date on 16 September 2026.

Meanwhile, the cum dividend date for the Cash Market has been set for 17 September 2026, with the ex dividend date on 18 September 2026. The recording date has been set for 17 September 2026, while dividend payment is scheduled for 2 October 2026.

Bank Mandiri stated that the interim dividend distribution has no material impact on the company’s operational activities, legal aspects, financial condition or business continuity.
