Bank Mandiri: The Company Continues Solid Business Growth
Bank Mandiri’s Director of Treasury & International Banking, Ari Rizaldi, stated that the company continued its solid business growth in the second quarter of 2026.
“Bank Mandiri continues its solid business growth in Q2-2026 with strong and high-quality credit distribution, while continuing to strengthen its role as a strategic partner to the government in driving the real sector,” he said during the Mandiri Macro & Market Brief Q2-2026 Indonesia Economic Outlook, titled “Indonesia Economic Outlook: Building Domestic Resilience in the Midst of Global Vulnerability,” held virtually in Jakarta on Thursday.
It was recorded that the bank’s credit distribution reached Rp1,592 trillion as of June 2026, representing a year-on-year (yoy) growth of 19.9 per cent, surpassing the industry’s average credit growth of 12.7 per cent yoy. This growth in intermediation was supported by a funding structure that is considered increasingly healthy.
Third-party funds (DPK) were recorded at Rp1,710 trillion, growing by 19.1 per cent yoy, which was higher than the industry’s DPK growth of 10.2 per cent yoy. This healthy growth in intermediation performance has strengthened Bank Mandiri’s financial fundamentals, ensuring that profitability remains maintained amidst sustainable business expansion.
Furthermore, he explained that Bank Mandiri’s support for the national economy was reflected in the company’s performance throughout the first half of 2026, recording revenue growth of 10.3 per cent yoy with a consolidated net profit of Rp30.4 trillion, or a growth of 24.4 per cent yoy.
“If we look at the overall development, Indonesia’s economic prospects remain constructive, even though the global environment still demands vigilance from all of us. We see that domestic demand, investment, the implementation of various development programmes, and banking intermediation continue to support economic activity. At the same time, global geopolitical dynamics and financial market volatility remain challenges that we need to monitor together,” said Ari.
In this context, Bank Mandiri is focusing on efforts to maintain healthy fundamentals and liquidity, strengthen asset quality, and capture growth opportunities through prudent financing oriented towards productive sectors.
“With the strength of our wholesale banking, an extensive ecosystem network, digital capabilities, and a commitment to sustainable finance, we will continue to strive to provide the best contribution to our customers, the community, and the Indonesian economy. Bank Mandiri is focused on supporting inclusive and sustainable economic development in Indonesia,” he added.
