Bank Mandiri Taspen Encourages Retirees to Stay Productive Through 'Bangkit Bersama' Programme
PT Bank Mandiri Taspen is strengthening the economic empowerment of its retired customers through the ‘Bangkit Bersama’ programme held in Padang, West Sumatra. The programme encourages pensioners to remain healthy, active, and productive through skills development and entrepreneurship during their retirement years.
Director of Transformation and Business Development at Bank Mandiri Taspen, Noer Fajrieansyah, stated that the company views retirement as a phase that can still be filled with productive and economically valuable activities.
“For us, the elderly are not just service recipients, but individuals who have made significant contributions to their families, communities, and the nation. Retirement is a new chapter that can still be lived in a healthy, active, productive, and meaningful way,” Noer said during the event, which was also attended by the Deputy Mayor of Padang, Maigus Nasir, on Friday.
The Bangkit Bersama programme is an implementation of the three pillars of Mantap Indonesia, namely Mantap Sehat (Healthy), Mantap Aktif (Active), and Mantap Sejahtera (Prosperous).
