Bank Mandiri Records Net Profit of Rp 15.4 Trillion

PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk recorded a consolidated net profit of Rp 15.4 trillion in the first quarter of 2026, growing 16.6% year-on-year (YoY). Profitability remains strong, as evidenced by a Return on Equity (ROE) of 22.1% and a Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) of 19.7%.

Bank Mandiri’s President Director, Riduan, stated that this achievement results from a focused synergy approach that impacts the national economy. “The performance we have achieved not only reflects business growth but is the tangible result of a synergy focus involving various elements of the national economy,” Riduan said in an official statement on Tuesday, 21 April 2026.

Bank Mandiri’s intermediation performance in the first quarter of 2026 showed acceleration above the industry average. Loan disbursements up to March 2026 reached Rp 1,530 trillion, up 17.4% year-on-year, surpassing the industry’s 9.37% growth based on Financial Services Authority data for February 2026.

From the funding side, third-party funds (bank only) reached Rp 1,675 trillion, up 21.1% year-on-year, higher than the industry’s 13.2% growth over the same period.

The funding structure is also strengthening, with Current Account Saving Account (CASA) at Rp 1,201 trillion, growing 12.7% YoY. Operational productivity has improved, as reflected in the BOPO ratio declining to 58.0%, an improvement of 3.48% YoY.

Bank Mandiri’s Corporate Banking Director, M. Rizaldi, stated that business expansion is balanced with disciplined asset quality management. The gross NPL ratio (bank only) is maintained at 0.98%, improving by 3 basis points YoY, well below the industry average of 2.17%, supported by an NPL Coverage Ratio of 245%.
