Bank Mandiri Records 30.8 Percent Growth in Infrastructure Credit
JAKARTA - PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk recorded infrastructure credit disbursements amounting to Rp 491.63 trillion as of February 2026. This figure represents a 30.8 percent growth compared to the same period last year, which stood at Rp 375.85 trillion. Bank Mandiri’s President Director, Riduan, stated that the credit was channelled to various strategic subsectors. The funded sectors include roads and transportation, oil and gas and renewable energy, electricity, telematics, public housing, urban facilities, and construction. The financing was utilised for projects such as toll roads, ports, and railway networks, which impact connectivity and economic activities. “The disbursement of this financing serves as tangible proof of the synergy between the financial sector and the real sector in supporting national development,” he said in a written statement on Tuesday (7/4/2026). The construction subsector recorded the highest growth. Its value increased by 178.19 percent to Rp 85.84 trillion. Road development financing grew by 11.08 percent to Rp 54.84 trillion. The telematics subsector also grew by 12.61 percent to Rp 44.34 trillion. “Infrastructure plays a strategic role in strengthening connectivity, improving economic efficiency, and driving the growth of productive sectors across various regions,” he added. Bank Mandiri will strengthen its role as a government partner.
