Bank Mandiri is reinforcing its role as a partner to the government in accelerating national development through sustainable infrastructure lending. Bank Mandiri President Director Riduan emphasised that this commitment aligns with the government’s development direction, which positions infrastructure as the main pillar of national economic growth.

“Bank Mandiri is committed to continuously supporting the acceleration of national infrastructure development through productive and sustainable financing. We believe that infrastructure development, continuously driven by the government, will serve as an important foundation to strengthen connectivity, drive the people’s economy, open more business opportunities, and create more equitable prosperity for society,” Riduan stated on Tuesday (7/4/2026).

This commitment is reflected in Bank Mandiri’s infrastructure lending, which reached Rp 491.63 trillion by February 2026. This performance grew 30.8% year-on-year compared to the same period the previous year at Rp 375.85 trillion, based on the classification in Presidential Regulation (Perpres) No. 38 of 2015.

This lending reflects Bank Mandiri’s sustained excellence in financing capabilities, supported by service ecosystem synergies and a comprehensive financing approach from upstream to downstream.

Riduan explained that the financing has reached various strategic subsectors, from roads and transportation, oil and gas and renewable energy, electricity, telematics, people’s housing, urban facilities, to construction. Projects include toll road construction, ports, and railway networks that provide tangible impacts on national connectivity and economic activities.

“This financing disbursement is concrete evidence of the synergy between the financial sector and the real sector in supporting national development. Infrastructure plays a strategic role in strengthening connectivity, improving economic efficiency, and driving the growth of productive sectors in various regions,” he said.

Transportation as the Largest Contributor

In detail, the transportation subsector is the largest contributor to Bank Mandiri’s infrastructure credit at Rp 118.03 trillion as of February 2026, or growing 18.45% compared to the same period the previous year. The infrastructure construction subsector recorded the highest growth at 178.19% year-on-year to Rp 85.84 trillion.

Meanwhile, financing for road development also increased 11.08% annually to Rp 54.84 trillion. The telematics subsector was recorded to have grown 12.61% compared to the same period last year, reaching Rp 44.34 trillion.

Looking ahead, Bank Mandiri believes the infrastructure sector’s prospects remain positive in line with the continuation of National Strategic Projects (PSN) that support economic growth. In line with the spirit of Serving Wholeheartedly, Bank Mandiri as part of the Danantara ecosystem will continue to strengthen its role as a strategic government partner through various financing solutions, including syndication schemes and sustainable financing.

“We want to continue to be part of Indonesia’s journey towards equitable prosperity. With network strength, experience, and solid financing capabilities, Bank Mandiri is ready to deliver adaptive and sustainable financial solutions to support national development,” Riduan said.
