Bank Mandiri continues to reinforce its role as a strategic partner to the government in accelerating national development through the sustainable growth of infrastructure credit disbursements. This initiative forms part of an integrated synergy to strengthen the economic foundation, expand connectivity, and create sustainable added value for society.

The President Director of Bank Mandiri emphasised that this commitment aligns with the government’s development direction, which positions infrastructure as the main pillar of national economic growth. Therefore, Bank Mandiri continues to channel financing to strategic sectors to enhance competitiveness, expand equity, and promote broader economic benefits for society.

“Bank Mandiri is committed to continuing to support the acceleration of national infrastructure development through productive and sustainable financing. We believe that infrastructure development, continuously driven by the government, will serve as an important foundation to strengthen connectivity, stimulate the people’s economy, open more business opportunities, and create more equitable prosperity for society,” said Riduan on Tuesday (7/4).

This commitment is reflected in Bank Mandiri’s infrastructure credit disbursements, which reached Rp 491.63 trillion as of February 2026, growing 30.8% year-on-year compared to Rp 375.85 trillion in the same period the previous year, based on the classification in Presidential Regulation (Perpres) No. 38 of 2015. These credit disbursements reflect Bank Mandiri’s sustained excellence in financing capabilities, supported by service ecosystem synergies and a comprehensive financing approach from upstream to downstream.

Riduan further explained that the financing has reached various strategic subsectors, ranging from roads and transportation, oil and gas and renewable energy, electricity, telematics, public housing, urban facilities, to construction. These projects include the construction of toll roads, ports, and railway networks that provide tangible impacts on national connectivity and economic activities.

“The disbursement of this financing serves as concrete evidence of the synergy between the financial sector and the real sector in supporting national development. Infrastructure plays a strategic role in strengthening connectivity, improving economic efficiency, and driving the growth of productive sectors in various regions,” he added.

In detail, the transportation subsector is the largest contributor to Bank Mandiri’s infrastructure credit with a value of Rp 118.03 trillion as of February 2026, or growing 18.45% compared to the same period the previous year. On the other hand, the infrastructure construction subsector recorded the highest growth at 178.19% year-on-year, reaching Rp 85.84 trillion.

Financing for road development also increased 11.08% annually to Rp 54.84 trillion, while the telematics subsector was recorded to grow 12.61% compared to the same period last year, reaching Rp 44.34 trillion.

Looking ahead, Bank Mandiri believes the infrastructure sector’s prospects remain positive in line with the continuation of the National Strategic Projects (PSN) that support economic growth. In line with the spirit of Wholehearted Service, Bank Mandiri as part of the Danantara ecosystem will continue to strengthen its role as a strategic partner to the government through various financing solutions, including syndication schemes and sustainable financing.

“We want to continue to be part of Indonesia’s journey towards equitable prosperity. With the strength of our network, experience, and solid financing capabilities, Bank Mandiri is ready to deliver adaptive and sustainable financial solutions to support national development,” Riduan concluded.
