Bank Mandiri Holds Third Simultaneous Blood Donation Drive Across 12 Regions
Continuing the spirit of ‘One Step from You, a Million Hopes for Them’, Bank Mandiri has once again held the Mandiri Blood Donation drive. This activity serves as a manifestation of the company’s commitment to not only contribute to national economic growth but also to deliver tangible benefits to society. This humanitarian action is part of Bank Mandiri’s series of sustainable social programmes in celebration of its 28th anniversary, consistently held on the 2nd of each month. Since it was first implemented in April 2026, the programme has successfully collected more than 7,000 blood bags, demonstrating Bank Mandiri’s commitment to expanding benefits and providing hope for those in need. In this third period of the Mandiri Blood Donation activity, Bank Mandiri again collaborated with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) and several health facilities to organise simultaneous blood donations across 12 Bank Mandiri regions throughout Indonesia. The activity involved the participation of more than 280 donors in each region, resulting in 3,360 donors nationally, and also involved members of Bank Mandiri’s board of directors as role models in fostering a culture of sharing. Not only involving Bank Mandiri employees, known as Mandirians, the activity was also open to customers and the general public around the company’s operational areas. Through synergy with various parties, Bank Mandiri hopes this humanitarian action can help meet the demand for blood while encouraging public participation in social activities that provide direct benefits to others. Bank Mandiri Corporate Secretary Adhika Vista stated that the routine organisation of the Mandiri Blood Donation is a tangible manifestation of the company’s commitment to continuously deliver benefits to the community. Through this activity, Bank Mandiri aims to strengthen the spirit of sharing and mutual cooperation, while inviting broader participation. ‘We present the Mandiri Blood Donation programme sustainably so that its benefits can be felt more widely, while also serving as a platform for Mandirians, customers, and the public to contribute together through a simple yet impactful humanitarian action,’ Adhika said in a written statement on Friday (4/7/2026). Adhika further conveyed that amidst continuously growing business performance, Bank Mandiri is committed to maintaining a balance between economic value creation and social contribution to society. According to Adhika, the company’s growth must be accompanied by various initiatives that have tangible benefits and reach more layers of society. ‘Therefore, we continue to promote various sustainability programmes that not only strengthen the company’s performance but also create a positive social impact,’ Adhika stated. During the implementation, each prospective donor first underwent a registration process, identity verification, and a health check by medical personnel to ensure prime physical condition before the donation was made. To support participant comfort, Bank Mandiri also provided various supporting facilities at each activity location. Beyond being a humanitarian action, this activity also strengthens the culture of social awareness within the company environment and encourages active community involvement in helping others. Bank Mandiri is optimistic that the synergy built through this programme can provide a sustainable positive impact for the wider community. This step aligns with the company’s commitment to continuously present relevant, inclusive, and positively impactful social programmes across its operational regions. ‘Bank Mandiri will continue to strengthen its role as an agent of development that is present not only through financial services but also through various social initiatives that provide sustainable benefits to the community,’ he concluded.
