Bank Mandiri Holds Blood Donation Drive, Engaging 4,850 Donors Across Indonesia
In anticipation of its 28th anniversary to be celebrated in October 2026, Bank Mandiri has once again organised the ‘Mandiri Donor Darah’ (Mandiri Blood Donation) initiative. This action is part of the company’s commitment to providing continuous benefits to the community. Carrying the theme ‘One Step from You, A Million Hopes for Them’, the activity is part of the corporation’s social initiatives to support the resilience of the national health sector.
This blood donation activity is part of a series of social programmes for Bank Mandiri’s 28th anniversary. Through various sustainable social initiatives, Bank Mandiri strives to encourage the active participation of all company employees, customers, and the public to collectively create a positive impact on the surrounding environment.
Bank Mandiri collaborated with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) to organise simultaneous blood donations on Tuesday (2/6/2<0xE2><0x80><0x89>026) across 12 Bank Mandiri regions spread throughout Indonesia. The activity also involved the top management of Bank Mandiri.
This event marks the second period of Bank Mandiri’s blood donation programme, following a previous session held in April 2026. In this latest implementation, the programme successfully engaged 4,850 donors nationwide. The activity was also open to customers and the general public in areas surrounding the company’s operational regions.
Through synergy with various parties, Bank Mandiri hopes this humanitarian action can assist in meeting blood requirements while encouraging public participation in social activities that provide direct benefits to others.
Bank Mandiri Corporate Secretary, Adhika Vista, stated that the company consistently presents various social programmes focused on improving the quality of life for the community, including in the health sector. According to him, the blood donation activity is a tangible form of the company’s contribution to strengthening the spirit of mutual cooperation and social care.
“Through the Mandiri Donor Darah activity, themed ‘One Step from You, A Million Hopes for Them’, we want to continue delivering a significant impact to the community while strengthening the collaboration between the company, health institutions, and the public in supporting national health sector resilience,” Adhika said in an official statement on Tuesday (2/6/2026).
During the implementation, every potential donor underwent a registration process, identity verification, and health checks by medical personnel to ensure they were in optimal condition before donating. To support participant comfort, Bank Mandiri also provided various supporting facilities at each event location.
In addition to being a humanitarian action, this activity also strengthens the culture of social care within the corporate environment and encourages active community involvement in helping others. Bank Mandini is optimistic that the synergy built through this programme can provide a sustainable positive impact for the wider community.
Moving forward, the Mandiri Donor Darah programme will continue to be held periodically on the 2nd of every month as part of the company’s agenda leading up to Bank Mandiri’s 28th anniversary on 2 October 2026. This step aligns with the company’s commitment to providing social programmes that are relevant, inclusive, and impactful across its various operational regions.
“Bank Mandiri will continue to strengthen its role as an agent of development, present not only through financial services but also through various social initiatives that provide sustainable benefits to the community,” said Adhika.
