Jakarta, Kompas.com - PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk has disbursed People’s Business Credit (KUR) amounting to Rp 14.54 trillion to 113,223 micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) as of April 2026.

The realisation is equivalent to 35.45 percent of the company’s KUR disbursement target for this year, set at Rp 41 trillion.

Bayu Trisno Arief Setiawan, Senior Vice President of Micro Development and Agent Banking at Bank Mandiri, said the programme is the group’s main instrument for opening access to productive financing for MSMEs, while also creating business opportunities and new jobs in various regions.

“Our disbursement of KUR is presented as a tangible instrument of growth value for the community,” he said in a written statement on Tuesday (19 May 2026).

The agriculture sector was the largest contributor, amounting to Rp 4.69 trillion. KUR was also disbursed to the production services sector to Rp 3.16 trillion and the manufacturing sector to Rp 1.1 trillion.

Bayu said the low-interest financing has helped millions of business operators to increase their business capacity, expand markets, and strengthen business resilience. “Through targeted working capital support and the ease and convenience of Bank Mandiri’s services, we want to help MSMEs improve business capacity, expand markets, and create new jobs across various productive sectors,” he said.

The disbursement of KUR was accompanied by maintaining high-quality credit portfolios, with a non-performing loan (NPL) ratio of 1 percent.

Bayu said this reflects the group’s ability to deliver healthy business growth through prudent risk management, while underscoring the company’s sustainable advantages in developing its micro and MSME segments.

Cumulatively, since the KUR program was launched by the government in 2008 until April 2026, Bank Mandiri has disbursed Rp 317.78 trillion in KUR to more than 3.7 million borrowers nationwide.

“With the support of an increasingly mature service network and digital ecosystem, we are optimistic KUR disbursement can be more targeted and deliver broader economic impacts for the community,” he said.
