Jakarta, VIVA – State-owned banking issuer PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) has agreed to distribute dividends worth Rp44.47 trillion. Consequently, the company’s dividend yield has surpassed two digits.

The dividend distribution decision was agreed upon at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) held in Jakarta on Wednesday, 29 April 2026. The dividend value is equivalent to 79% of the consolidated net profit for the 2025 fiscal year, which reached Rp56.3 trillion.

Of the total dividends, Rp9.3 trillion had already been distributed as interim dividends on 14 January 2026. The remainder will be distributed to shareholders following the AGMS.

With the BMRI share price closing at Rp4,430 per share on the date of the AGMS, the dividend yield stands at 10.77%. This figure is one of the highest among banking issuers in Indonesia.

The total dividend per share (DPS) amounts to Rp476.95 per unit. This is an increase from the previous year’s Rp466.18 per share.

“This reflects the Company’s commitment to delivering optimal value for the state and all shareholders, without diminishing Bank Mandiri’s capacity to continue growing as a globally competitive national financial institution,” said Bank Mandiri’s President Director, Riduan, in his official statement quoted on Thursday, 30 April 2026.

Riduan explained that the company’s positive performance is supported by credit growth of 13.4% year-on-year to Rp1,895 trillion. Third-party funds (DPK) also recorded a significant surge of 23.9% year-on-year to Rp2,106 trillion.

The bank’s standalone credit disbursement reached Rp1,530 trillion, up 17.4% year-on-year. Asset quality is maintained, as reflected in the gross non-performing loan (NPL) ratio of 0.98%.

Riduan added that this dividend distribution decision also reflects shareholders’ confidence in the company’s business direction and long-term growth strategy. He emphasised that the company will continue to safeguard fundamentals, strengthen governance, and expand its role as part of the national economic driver ecosystem.

“This dividend also embodies our determination to Serve Wholeheartedly as a partner to the state and as part of the Danantara ecosystem that strengthens the contribution of state-owned enterprises to society,” Riduan concluded.
