The dividend distribution policy of PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) is considered one of the most attractive among major banks, as the company maintains business growth and strong fundamentals. The Head of Research at Infovesta Utama, Wawan Hendrayana, stated that Bank Mandiri’s dividend payout level is shareholder-friendly, with a payout ratio for the 2025 fiscal year reaching approximately 79 per cent of net profit.

“BMRI’s payout is among the most shareholder-friendly in the large-cap banking sector,” Wawan said in a statement on Friday (2/10/2026).

It is reported that Bank Mandiri distributed dividends of approximately Rp44.47 trillion from a net profit of Rp56.3 trillion for the 2025 fiscal year. Additionally, the company has set an interim dividend for 2026 of Rp6.16 trillion, or Rp66 per share. Consequently, the total dividends paid or allocated for the 2026 calendar year have reached approximately Rp50.63 trillion.

According to Wawan, the magnitude of this dividend is also reflected in BMRI’s dividend yield, which remains at a double-digit level. Furthermore, the interim dividend of Rp66 per share demonstrates management’s confidence in the company’s fundamental strength.

This confidence, he continued, is supported by continued solid business growth. As of August 2026, Bank Mandiri’s credit and third-party funds (DPK) grew by approximately 17.6 per cent year-on-year, while net profit for the first eight months of 2026 increased by 22.3 per cent.
