Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk has disbursed People’s Business Credit (KUR) amounting to Rp7.35 trillion to 59,327 micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) actors throughout Indonesia up to the February 2026 period.

Bank Mandiri’s Consumer Banking Director, Saptari, stated in an official release in Jakarta on Monday that this realisation equates to 17.92% of Bank Mandiri’s 2026 KUR target of Rp41 trillion.

According to Saptari, this disbursement serves as tangible proof of the synergy between the government, banking sector, and business community in accelerating people-based economic growth as part of the national economic ecosystem.

“KUR support is not just about financing, but also about empowerment. Through broader access to capital, we aim to help MSME actors strengthen production capacity, expand employment opportunities, and enhance competitiveness. This is the embodiment of our ongoing ‘Synergy to Advance the Nation’ initiative,” said Saptari.

Of that amount, the agriculture sector, as a driver of national food security, reached Rp2.21 trillion, the production services sector amounted to Rp1.65 trillion, the processing industry sector Rp568 billion, and the fisheries sector Rp107 billion.

In terms of credit quality, the company ensures that the KUR portfolio remains in good condition with a non-performing loan (NPL) rate below 1%.

Cumulatively, Bank Mandiri’s total KUR disbursement has reached Rp310.59 trillion to 3.65 million debtors since the government launched the KUR programme in 2008 up to February 2026.
