Bank Mandiri continues to strive to make Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) a primary pillar of the national economy. Concretely, Bank Mandiri’s People’s Business Credit (KUR) reached Rp 25.63 trillion as of July 2026, or 62.5% of the 2026 disbursement target.

Coinciding with the commemoration of National MSME Day and in the spirit of welcoming the 81st Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, which carries the theme ‘A Sovereign, Just, and Prosperous Indonesia’, the bank with the stock code BMRI affirmed its role as a growth partner for business actors through strengthening the financing ecosystem, digitalisation, and mentoring that encourages more MSMEs to grow and move up a class.

These efforts promote community economic independence while strengthening the foundation of Indonesia’s inclusive, resilient, and sustainable economic growth.

Amid the acceleration of disbursement, credit quality remains well maintained, reflecting sound risk management as well as the effectiveness of mentoring for business actors. Bank Mandiri also recorded positive achievements in encouraging MSMEs to develop to the next stage.

From January to July 2026, a total of 56,043 debtors successfully graduated or moved up to a higher financing scheme. In addition, the company has reached 134,682 new debtors as part of efforts to expand access to productive financing for the public.

Senior Vice President of Micro Development and Agent Banking at Bank Mandiri, Bayu Trisno Arief Setiawan, said that National MSME Day is a momentum to affirm that the success of MSME empowerment is not only measured by the amount of financing disbursed, but also by the increasing number of business actors who are able to improve business capacity, expand markets, and move up a class.

“Bank Mandiri believes that MSMEs are the main foundation of the Indonesian economy. Therefore, we are building an ecosystem that supports business actors at every stage of growth, from obtaining access to financing, developing businesses through digital solutions, to being able to increase their business scale. For us, the success of MSMEs moving up a class is a real indicator that the empowerment carried out has a sustainable impact on the national economy,” he said in a written statement on Thursday (13/8/2026).

As a strategic partner of the government, Bank Mandiri continues to support various national priority programmes in strengthening the MSME sector through the disbursement of productive financing, acceleration of financial inclusion, and digital transformation.

This support is also realised through synergy with ministries and agencies, regional governments, business communities, and various stakeholders to expand market access and improve the competitiveness of business actors.

The company believes that strengthening MSMEs requires a comprehensive approach. Therefore, Bank Mandiri, as an ecosystem driving the nation’s economy, continues to integrate access to financing, digital transaction services, payment solutions, as well as mentoring and empowerment programmes so that business actors can grow sustainably.

“This commitment is further strengthened through Bank Mandiri’s synergy within the Danantara Ecosystem, which encourages the optimisation of financing for the productive sector, strengthens national economic resilience, and creates added value for the community. Through this collaboration, Bank Mandiri continues to deliver solutions that can accelerate the growth of MSMEs as one of the driving engines of the Indonesian economy. Going forward, Bank Mandiri will continue to expand collaboration and innovation to accelerate the emergence of more MSMEs that move up a class, become more competitive, and are able to make a greater contribution to job creation and national economic growth,” he concluded.
