Jambi City (ANTARA) - PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jambi (Bank Jambi) has assured that it will compensate customers affected by service disruptions in recent days.

The Director of Treasury, Funds, Information Technology (IT), and Digital at Bank Jambi, H Achmad Nunung, in Jambi, Thursday, said that the management team had held an internal meeting to discuss steps to resolve the issues.

“Last night, an internal discussion was held, and approval was given to compensate affected customers. However, the amount cannot be disclosed yet as it is still in the verification process,” he said when met.

This policy was taken as a form of corporate responsibility and an effort to maintain public trust in the banking services in the region.

The bank has not yet been able to confirm the timeframe for complete resolution, but it is continuously working to restore ATM services and improve the system gradually in preparation for the salary and Eid bonus payment period to alleviate queues at several branches.

Meanwhile, regarding the possibility of additional compensation for customers, management has not yet provided further information.

Nunung also affirmed that the bank’s liquidity remains within safe limits. Although there has been an increase in transaction volume compared to normal days, the situation has not led to a rush on deposits.

“We apologize to customers for the less-than-optimal service in recent times and also express our appreciation for the trust that the public continues to place in us during this situation,” said Nunung.

Affected customers can submit reports to Bank Jambi’s Customer Service at the nearest Bank Jambi service office during the bank’s operating hours.
