Bank Jambi accelerates system normalisation with BI and OJK
Jambi (ANTARA) - The Chief Executive of Bank Jambi, Khairul Suhairi, has confirmed that efforts to accelerate system normalisation are being undertaken jointly with Bank Indonesia (BI) and the Financial Services Authority (OJK) to ensure that the public’s right to access banking services is restored promptly.
“Based on BI’s assessment, we must rebuild our systems, meaning there are systems that we need to reconstruct,” Khairul said in Jambi on Monday.
He explained that the system rebuild process requires time. For this reason, the bank is not yet in a position to confirm when services will return to normal, although recovery efforts will continue.
Regarding system normalisation, Bank Jambi management stated that they are continuing intensive coordination and daily evaluation checkpoints with Bank Indonesia and the Financial Services Authority.
Khairul acknowledged that service restrictions are currently in place as a precautionary measure to prevent disruptions from spreading further. Overall, conditions are currently under control.
Bank Jambi management has confirmed that funds belonging to customers affected by the system disruption have been fully returned, including any administrative charges incurred from those transactions.
“Bank Jambi promises to provide official information to customers promptly once all stages have been declared complete,” he concluded.
