REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – The Bank Jakarta XPORIA 2026 was held at Jakarta City Hall from 20-23 April 2026. The bazaar event, featuring a range of products from cuisine and fashion to automotive and property, is seen as capable of directly boosting economic circulation.

One visitor, Andien (36 years old), praised the concept of the bazaar integrated with a digital payment system, which provides convenience while encouraging consumption. The civil servant from the Central Jakarta Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) noted that the variety of tenants present gave her many options.

“This is only the second day, so I’m just wandering around because I have to return to the office soon. Earlier, I paid using JakOne; it’s much easier,” she said at the location on Tuesday (21/4/2026).

She also revealed that information about promotions and discounts circulating internally in the office served as an additional stimulus for civil servants to shop. As a result, she was motivated to attend and make purchases.

“We were informed about this in the group chat, that Bank Jakarta is having a bazaar for its anniversary, and if using Visa, there are discounts and cashbacks, something like that,” said Andien.

From the business operators’ perspective, the event also provides tangible impacts on sales increases and market expansion. Afendi and Ali, vendors of Kebab Mayestik, admitted that events like this are effective in boosting turnover while expanding consumer reach.

“This event greatly helps increase sales at our outlet and introduces our business to more people,” said Afendi.

According to him, the strategic location at City Hall and the high visitor traffic are the main factors driving economic activity during the event. This naturally helps expand his business.

He added that digital payments via QRIS also speed up transactions. This reduces barriers in the buying and selling process. “Using QRIS makes the transaction process much easier,” Afendi stated.

Cindy, a business operator from Kukerku.jkt, echoed similar sentiments, noting an increase in sales since the first day of participating in the bazaar. One factor boosting her sales is the use of QRIS, as it makes payments easier for buyers.

“With QRIS, it definitely becomes much easier,” she said.

Previously, Bank Jakarta’s President Director, Agus H Widodo, stated that XPORIA 2026 is part of the company’s strategy to build a digital and inclusive economic ecosystem. He hopes that through XPORIA 2026, Bank Jakarta can increase trust and engagement among civil servants towards the bank.

“This is a form of Bank Jakarta’s commitment to facilitating civil servants through various service conveniences,” said Agus.

He assessed that the event is designed not just as an exhibition. More than that, XPORIA also serves as a space for economic interaction that provides direct experiences to the public.

“We want the public not only to see but also to directly experience various flagship products,” he said.

Furthermore, Agus mentioned that the integration between merchants and customers through digital platforms is key to driving efficiency and economic growth. This is expected to activate the wheels of Jakarta’s economy.

“Through this event, we want to connect merchants and customers so they can transact more easily and efficiently. Ultimately, this will tangibly drive Jakarta’s economy,” said Agus.

Meanwhile, Bank Jakarta’s Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi, added that the event is expected to provide sustainable economic impacts for all stakeholders. Through Jakarta XPORIA 2026, Bank Jakarta aims to deliver experiences that are not merely transactional but also strengthen engagement between Bank Jakarta and its customers and the public.

“Going forward, we will continue to promote service innovations and expand collaborations to create a more inclusive and sustainable financial ecosystem,” said Arie.
