Bank Jakarta has earned two awards for its commitment to strengthening corporate governance and sustaining performance. The awards were presented on Friday (27/02).

In the Indonesia Enterprise Risk Management Award (IERMA) 2026, Bank Jakarta received the Best Indonesia Enterprises Risk Management Gold Award (B) Excellent (4 Star) in the Regional Development Company Asset > Rp90 Trillion category. Compliance Director Ateng Rivai said the award reflected the collective effort of management and staff as the company underwent a transformation focused on reinforcing the business’ fundamentals.

“Healthy growth must be underpinned by strong governance, disciplined and accountable risk management. Strengthening a risk-aware culture across the organisation is a crucial part of ensuring every strategic step remains within the prudential and regulatory frameworks in force,” Ateng said.

The IERMA 2026 evaluation used a secondary data approach, reviewing documents and publicly available information such as annual reports, company profiles, and other supporting data. The panel assessed multiple aspects of risk management, from internal environment and objective setting to risk identification and assessment, mitigation strategies, and monitoring and evaluation mechanisms applied on an ongoing basis. It also considered the quality of human resources implementing risk management, including competencies, educational background, professional certifications, and work experience. In the internal audit aspect, the panel evaluated the independence of the audit department within the organisational structure and the effectiveness of following up on auditor recommendations as part of strengthening internal controls.

In addition to the risk management award, Bank Jakarta also received the Indonesia Best CFO Awards 2026, awarded to Chief Financial & Strategy Officer Basaria Martha Juliana. The award recognises strategic leadership in safeguarding the company’s financial health while supporting sustainable business growth. The evaluation considered the financial performance based on audited reports, growth and profitability analyses, cost and liquidity management, and the CFO’s role in supporting transformation and digitalisation of the company’s finances. It also involved independent research and in-depth briefing by a judging panel of academics and industry practitioners.

Company Secretary Arie Rinaldi noted that strengthened risk management and accountable financial leadership are key to maintaining public trust and supporting the company’s transformation agenda.

“This recognition motivates us to continue improving our communications and information disclosure to the public. Going forward, Bank Jakarta will reinforce collaboration, innovation, and discipline in governance to ensure sustainable growth and create value for all stakeholders,” Arie said.

Through these achievements, Bank Jakarta says it is confident in continuing its transformation agenda, strengthening governance, and delivering professional, inclusive, and competitive banking services.
