Jakarta (ANTARA) – Bank Jakarta’s consistency in implementing corporate governance earned the Gold Regulatory Compliance Award at the Indonesia Regulatory Compliance Awards 2026, organised by Hukum Online in Jakarta on 22 May. The accolade is awarded to companies that embed legal compliance as a core value in strategic decision-making.

The Bank Jakarta Compliance Director, Ateng Rivai, in a written statement, expressed thanks to The Iconomics for the accolade and dedicated it to all stakeholders. The award is a valuable recognition of ongoing efforts to raise governance standards, including the implementation of regulatory compliance in banking.

Ateng further stated that compliance with regulations forms a central pillar of Bank Jakarta’s governance and operations. With sound governance, Bank Jakarta is optimistic about increasing public trust and delivering added value for stakeholders, including customers, business partners, and regulators, as the bank emphasises.

IRCA is an award based on self-assessment with a structured methodology for companies exemplifying compliance with law and sustainable governance. The assessment considers aspects such as compliance evaluation and monitoring, internal dissemination of regulations, innovation and use of technology to facilitate legal compliance goals; human resources development strategy, and other relevant aspects.

The Corporate Secretary of Bank DKI, Arie Rinaldi, added that this achievement further strengthens Bank Jakarta’s commitment to governance. “By consistently applying GCG (good corporate governance), we believe we can maintain healthy company performance, increase stakeholder confidence, and reinforce Bank Jakarta’s position as a professional and highly competitive banking institution,” concluded Arie.
