Bank Jakarta Urged to Accelerate Digital Transformation
Bank Jakarta has once again excelled in the digital banking sector, securing seven awards at the 15th Infobank-Isentia Digital Brand Recognition 2025. The awards signify the strengthening of the bank’s ongoing digital transformation amid rising demand for technology-based banking services. The bank also won The Best Conventional Deposit Bank 2026, The Best E-Money Bank 2026 for its JakCard product, The Best Conventional Debit Card Bank 2026, The Best Conventional Mobile Banking Bank 2026, The Best Conventional Savings Bank 2026, and Second Best Conventional Mortgage Bank 2026. Daniel Setiawan Subianto, Bank Jakarta’s Director of Technology and Operations, stated that the awards reflect the growing acceptance of the company’s digital transformation by customers and the public. ‘These awards signify that Bank Jakarta’s digital transformation efforts are increasingly accepted by customers and the public,’ Daniel said in a statement on Monday (25 May). He noted that technological advancements and changing consumer behaviour demand a rapid and adaptive banking sector. Innovation is essential to keep services relevant to public needs. ‘We are aware that expectations of Bank Jakarta continue to rise. Therefore, there is no option but to consistently transform and innovate,’ he stressed. Daniel added that Bank Jakarta is currently focusing on strengthening integrated digital infrastructure and developing more accessible service features. One innovation planned is the launch of Bank Jakarta’s VISA Debit Card in early 2026. Meanwhile, Bank Jakarta’s Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi, said the awards were the result of collective efforts across the company to strengthen technology and operational integration. ‘We are committed to continuously strengthening digital infrastructure to ensure faster, safer, and more reliable services for all customers,’ Arie concluded.
