Bank Jakarta is focusing on strengthening its digital service transformation amid rising customer demand for faster, integrated banking services. This effort involves enhancing digital infrastructure and developing application-based service features.

Bank Jakarta’s Director of Technology and Operations, Daniel Setiawan Subianto, stated that digital transformation is crucial for the bank to keep pace with changing consumer behaviour and technological advancements in the banking sector.

“We recognise that expectations of Bank Jakarta continue to rise. Therefore, there is no option but to consistently transform and innovate,” Daniel said in a statement on Saturday (23 May 2026).

According to him, Bank Jakarta is currently focusing on developing more accessible and integrated digital services for customers. One such development is the launch of the Bank Jakarta VISA Debit Card in early 2026.

Daniel noted that the company’s digital transformation is receiving positive public response, as evidenced by seven awards at the 15th Infobank-Isentia Digital Brand Recognition 2025 event.

“These awards signal that Bank Jakarta’s digital transformation is increasingly accepted by customers and the public,” Daniel said.

At the event, Bank Jakarta won the award for The Best Conventional Bank 2026 – KBMI 2. Additionally, the bank received accolades in categories including deposits, JakCard e-money, debit cards, mobile banking, savings, and home ownership credit (KPR).

Bank Jakarta’s Company Secretary, Arie Rinaldi, said the bank will continue to strengthen its digital infrastructure to enhance service quality for customers.

“We are committed to further strengthening our digital infrastructure to ensure faster, secure, and reliable service for all customers,” Arie said.
