Bank Jakarta’s CEO Agus H Widodo stated that rapid technological developments and shifts in consumer behaviour demand an adaptive response from the banking industry.
“We recognise that expectations of Bank Jakarta continue to rise; therefore, there is no option but to transform and innovate consistently,” Agus said in a written statement on Friday (24/4/2026).
Customer and stakeholder trust, according to him, drives Bank Jakarta to continue innovating.
These transformation efforts are also supported by strengthening on the technology and operational sides.
Bank Jakarta’s Director of Technology and Operations Daniel Setiawan Subianto said that integrating technology and operations is an important part of supporting efficiency while improving service reliability.
The statement affirms Bank Jakarta’s strategic direction, which places strengthening the digital foundation not only as system modernisation but also as a supporter of service quality.
In the banking industry, transaction speed, system security, and operational reliability are factors that increasingly determine customer experience.
Therefore, strengthening digital infrastructure is seen as part of a broader transformation agenda.
