Bank Jakarta Leverages Jakarta Fair to Boost Digital Transactions

Bank Jakarta is capitalising on the Jakarta Fair 2026 to drive non-cash transactions and introduce its digital banking services to the public. The bank has established a presence in Hall C1 of the DKI Jakarta Pavilion, where visitors can use the JakOne Mobile application to transact with various merchants and MSME tenants operating at the exhibition. Bank Jakarta President Director Agus H Widodo stated that the bank’s participation is a strategy to remain close to the community while expanding the use of digital services. ‘Bank Jakarta’s presence at Jakarta Fair is an effort to be present and consistently relevant to the community,’ Agus said on Monday (15/6/2026). This year, Bank Jakarta also launched an Engagement Store in collaboration with e-commerce platform Blibli, combining banking services and digital transaction experiences in one location. Beyond transacting via JakOne Mobile, visitors can open accounts online, apply for credit and financing, and utilise ATM Customer Relationship Management (ATM-CRM) machines for cash deposits and withdrawals. Corporate Secretary Arie Rinaldi explained that the Engagement Store was designed to provide service experiences aligned with public needs while introducing various banking products. ‘Through Bank Jakarta’s presence at Jakarta Fair 2026, we aim to deliver a transactional experience that strengthens engagement between Bank Jakarta and its customers and the public,’ Arie said. Bank Jakarta also supports motor vehicle tax (PKB) and vehicle title transfer fee (BBNKB) payments through a partnership with the DKI Jakarta Regional Revenue Agency, with payments possible via EDC machines or the JakOne Mobile application. According to Arie, collaborations will continue to be expanded to support the development of a more inclusive digital financial ecosystem in Jakarta.
