Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - PT Bank JTrust Indonesia Tbk (BCIC) recorded a decline in net profit in the first half of 2026. Based on the financial report up to June 2026, JTrust Bank’s net profit was recorded at Rp80.24 billion, down 28.9% year on year (yoy) compared to the same period last year, which reached Rp112.86 billion.

During the first six months of this year, BCIC’s interest income fell to Rp1.19 trillion from Rp1.49 trillion in the same period last year. On the other hand, interest expenses also decreased to Rp829.33 billion from Rp1.10 trillion, resulting in net interest income of Rp360.98 billion, lower than the Rp390.29 billion recorded in the first half of 2025.

Other operating income also weakened to Rp139.11 billion from Rp153.95 billion. This decline was partly influenced by the absence of operational support receipts amounting to Rp50 billion, which were still recorded in the first half of 2025.

However, fee, administration, and penalty income from loans increased to Rp77.99 billion from Rp70.93 billion, while foreign exchange gains also rose to Rp25.73 billion from Rp15.52 billion.

On the expense side, total other operating expenses remained relatively stable at Rp417.15 billion, compared to Rp420.55 billion in the same period last year. Allowance for impairment losses (CKPN) actually decreased to Rp18.60 billion from Rp36.65 billion, although salary and employee benefits expenses as well as general and administrative expenses saw slight increases.

In terms of intermediation, loan disbursement rose to Rp28.89 trillion as of June 2026, an increase of approximately 8.7% from the end of 2025 position of Rp26.59 trillion. Meanwhile, third-party funds (DPK) also grew slightly to Rp33.92 trillion from Rp33.56 trillion at the end of last year.

BCIC’s total assets increased to Rp39.84 trillion at the end of June 2026, up around 1.2% from the end of December 2025 position of Rp39.35 trillion.
