Bank Indonesia releases weekly money market yield curve publications
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Bank Indonesia (BI) releases the money market transaction yield curve publication every Monday, or the first working day of each week, at 10:00 WIB, containing daily data from the previous working week. The yield curve is calculated based on the weighted average price (RRT) and actual transaction volumes of repurchase agreements (repo) and Bank Indonesia Rupiah Securities (SRBI) in the secondary market. The data covers 1-month repo tenors, as well as 3, 6, and 12-month SRBI tenors.
Executive Director of the BI Communications Department, Ramdan Denny Prakoso, stated in Jakarta on Monday that this publication is intended to strengthen the efficiency and transparency of price formation in the domestic money market. “This curve reflects the actual price conditions formed in the secondary market, thereby providing a more accurate and transaction-based benchmark for all market participants,” he said.
The publication was launched starting 8 June 2026. The public can access it via the Bank Indonesia website at www.bi.go.id under the “Main Functions” - “Monetary” - “INDONIA and Other Money Market Prices” menu.
BI stated that this initiative is part of the Indonesian central bank’s commitment, alongside the National Working Group on Benchmark Reform (NWGBR), to strengthen domestic benchmark interest rate reforms and encourage the development of a modern, transparent, efficient, and transaction-based financial market. “This publication is expected to increase the efficiency of price formation in the money market, encourage liquidity in secondary market transactions, deepen the domestic financial market, and strengthen the effectiveness of monetary policy transmission,” Ramdan concluded.
According to the publication, during the period of 2-5 June 2026, money market instrument yields tended to increase across all tenors. The 1-month repo yield rose from 6.25 per cent on Tuesday (2/6/2026) to 6.36 per cent on Friday (5/6/2026). Meanwhile, 3-month and 6-month SRBI yields increased from 6.47 per cent and 6.69 per cent to 6.62 per cent and 6.87 per cent, respectively. Additionally, the 12-month SRBI was recorded to have increased from 6.95 per cent on Wednesday (3/6/2026) to 7.24 per cent on Friday (5/6/2026).
