Bank Indonesia Opens Special Hire and PKWT Recruitment for April 2026: Check the Requirements
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Good news for those seeking job opportunities. Bank Indonesia (BI) is opening recruitment for personnel through two channels: Special Hire (SH) and Fixed-Term Employment Contract (PKWT) in April 2026.
Registration for BI job openings will run from 12 April to 17 April 2026. This BI recruitment programme forms part of the strategy to strengthen competent, integrity-driven, and adaptable human resources in response to digital developments.
BI recruitment is open to Indonesian citizens (WNI) who meet the qualifications, such as being physically and mentally healthy, preferably with work experience, not currently bound by service to other institutions, and willing to follow all applicable provisions.
Meanwhile, PKWT recruitment is a scheme for hiring personnel for a specific period in accordance with BI regulations.
Acceptance through the PKWT channel is intended to obtain candidates with specific competencies and work experience in fields matching BI’s needs.
A. Organisational Support (IT/IS)
- Junior Supervisor (Contract Manager) - SI Contract and Asset Management Division - Contract Management Team
Qualifications:
Maximum age of 40 years on 12 April 2026 (born on or after 12 April 1986);
Minimum S1 education;
Majors: Informatics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Informatics Management, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Management, Accounting, Law;
Minimum GPA of 3.00 (4.00 scale);
Possessing experience in:
Managing procurement and implementation of enterprise-scale information system contracts;
As an IT Contract Manager and/or managing large-scale organisational portfolios and performance as an added value.
Experience in medium to large-scale companies/institutions; experience in the digital industry (banking, telecommunications, e-commerce, fintech) as an added value;
Skills in managing information system procurement and contracts;
Certification in procurement as an added value;
Good leadership, communication, and teamwork abilities;
Ability to understand English, particularly reading and listening, as an added value.
- Junior SI Supervisor (Asset Manager) - SI Contract and Asset Management Division - SI Asset Management Team
Qualifications:
Maximum age of 40 years on 12 April 2026 (born on or after 12 April 1986);
Minimum S1 education;
Majors: Informatics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Informatics Management, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Management, Accounting, Administrative Sciences;

Certification in asset management as an added value;

B. Market
- Junior Portfolio Manager - Portfolio Management Division
Qualifications:
Maximum age of 28 years for S1 graduates or 30 years for S2 graduates on 12 April 2026 (born on or after 12 April 1998 for S1 graduates and 12 April 1996 for S2 graduates);
Graduates from Domestic Higher Education Institutions with minimum A accreditation or Foreign Higher Education Institutions;
Majors: Finance, Development Economics, Financial Management, Industrial Engineering, Accounting, Statistics, Mathematics, Informatics Engineering, with Finance preferred;
Minimum GPA of 3.00 (4.00 scale);
Minimum 2 years of work experience in the financial/ securities/ banking sector, preferably in foreign exchange and asset management areas, especially front office (FX management, bonds and/or shares) and middle office (analysis and/or valuation);
Minimum institutional TOEFL score of 550 or iBT TOEFL of 85 or IELTS of 6.0;
Preferred certification in economics and/or finance.
C. SP-PUR
- Junior Analyst - Data and Information Group, Education, Cooperation, and Counterfeit Money Prevention
Qualifications:
Maximum age of 40 years on 12 April 2026 (born on or after 12 April 1986);
Minimum D4/S1 education;
Majors: Graphic Engineering, Graphic Technology, Chemical Engineering, Physics Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemistry, and Physics;
Minimum GPA of 3.00 (4.00 scale);
Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in:
Printing industry, especially security printing;
Forgery analysis of documents or money;
Forensic document examination;
Investigation of valuable document forgery;
Analysis of forgery characteristics in documents.
Understanding of graphics, especially related to security documents and/or security printing;
Ability to analyse security document characteristics;
Ability to process and analyse trend data;
Ability to compile technical studies on counterfeit security document mitigation;
Ability to write scientific journals and technical study reports;
Good communication and technical report writing skills;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Excel;
English language skills, both spoken and written;
